If there’s one thing NFL teams love to do, it’s bring back fan favorite players to cheer the team on before a big matchup. Tom Brady was in Foxboro last week to take up the mantle as “Patriot For Life” even though he has won a Super Bowl in another team and is trying to buy an ownership interest in another. New England thought Drew Bledsoe would be the best choice. But no matter. The NFL can divert the attention from traumatic head injuries, racial bias lawsuits, and violence towards women. Making matters worse, Spikes was the official Legend of the Game, chosen by the Bills’ official store! Isn’t it worth it to get a better meal? Come on, Buffalo. This is not the Pegulas’ week. I cannot stress it enough.
