Jonathan Majors’ Domestic Abuse Trial Delayed Again

The “Lovecraft Country’ actor appeared virtually before Judge Rachel S. Pauley. The prosecution claimed to be ready while the defense said they needed to correct some “deficiencies in discovery”, according to Deadline. The new trial date is set for September 15. The last majors’ hearing took place on Aug. 3. During that time, the prosecution and defense agreed to postpone a trial because the prosecution said it was “not ready.” The woman reported to police that she was assaulted. Majors’ attorney said that at the time, he was “completely guilty and is proven to be the victim of a altercation with woman he knows”, and that the accusation had been withdrawn by the woman. Majors’ lawyer did not respond immediately to a comment request.
